Contact Your Elected Officials

Write, fax or email the elected officials who represent you at every level and let them know that:
  • You recognize that PennDOT has no funding and no authority on its own. PennDOT's money and its authority come from the taxpayers and the representatives we elected.

  • You support the two-lane alternative as a safe and sustainable solution to the problems of Route 41.

  • You oppose the PennDOT four-lane plans that will induce growth, promote sprawl, and encourage aggressive driving behavior.

  • You want PennDOT to include the two-lane alternative in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement to be released in 2003.

  • You want your Borough or Township officials to support a two-lane alternative, to appoint a representative to the Task Force to study a ban on through bound truck traffic, and to pass a resolution in support of the through truck restriction.
